I was at Hilton Waikoloa Village for a conference, and I wanted to get a haircut before I gave my presentation.

I found Michelle on Yelp and gave her a call. She said she closed at 5 and I told her I was headed over. We got lost on the way so by the time we got there it was already close to 5. I called her and she had already closed for the day, but she came back to give me my haircut anyways.

She gave me a good haircut for $20, and most importantly, my girlfriend approved. It was a little shorter than I intended but it came out quite nice and I looked sharp for my presentation :-).

She also told me about a great snorkeling location: the Place of Refuge which is south of Kona. Very beautiful coral.

Michelle did a wonderful job putting up my hair for a formal award banquet.  I met with her a couple of days before the event to go over ideas.  I received so many compliments that evening.  This was my first trip to the islands and my expectations were exceeded in regards to price and service.  Definitely recommend for anyone looking for salon services during a trip to this area!
